Thats just nonsense. Why doesn't their coach ever smile. Maybe if he keeps looking sad he'll get more pity votes.

When you almost lose to Washington State and you're ranked #6, that's blasphemy.

you mean...8?

but still, results is all that matters here. Being able to pull come backs and last second wins is always a trait of a great team. Do you think UCLA has pulled all of these from pure luck alone? They have never gotten down after large leads on any of their opponents. Here's to my fellow UC school

Ehhh...

How do you get ranked so high when you almost lose... That's just sad. You guys get lucky.

And if you wanna talk about the Cal game, you guys got dominated rushing. Same with the Washington State game.

Edit: Close games should drop rankings. Case in point. Cal vs. Oregon 2004. 28-27. We lost votes cuz of that...

UCLA didn't move up because they played well, they moved up because Florida State, Penn State, Notre Dame, and Florida all lost. They'll continue to be last among the undefeated teams unless they start to play better against weaker teams.
