Neither are ready for the draft. They'll both end up overseas or in the NBDL or whatever it's called these days.

Who cares? That's doesn't mean the school is any better or worse than if it was 50th or 100th or 500th.

wow...no way farmar can hang w/ the nba pg's, unless he can become some lock down point guard on defense.

I guess I just don't see the appeal of UCLA. Only southern school I considered was USC. Maybe because the only people that go there that I know personally are people I hate.

Out of 12,094 UCLA admits, 230 were black, 1,391 were Latino or Chicana/o and 48 were Native American.

It's a great school, and its about as good or slightly better than other great state schools like UT Austin or Washington.

Great overall school, but ok... not that special.

Doesn't mean that much, it jsut means it's right there in the middle. the smart kids have it as a back up, the regular kids have it as a legit shot, the dumb ones have it as a reasonable reach school.

It really doesn't. MIT and Harvard don't get nearly as many applicants as UCLA, but both are clearly better schools. One reason fewer people apply to those schools is because they know they wouldn't get in. So I guess a high number of applicants could indicate mediocrity. Or it could indicate high enrollment.
