I realized tonight I have 0 friends in Boston. My bday was wednesday. one guy came out for it. I figured I'd do shit this weekend. The entire group of people I thought were my friends are nowhere to be found and wont' respond to my 'hey what's up tonight' text. 3 people I was going to hang out with bailed. I can't wait to leave this shit

If I was 18 and still had this shit going on it'd be one thing, but I'm 29. I need to seriously blow up 90% of my life.

ffs MrMatt stop feeling so sorry for yourself. join something, and make some different friends. do some volunteer work. feel good about yourself.

as we get older our high school/college friendships flake away. every weekend isn't a big party anymore as people get married and have kids. hold on to the 2 or 3 good friends you have and always strive to make new friends.

That "woe is me" attitude though, it's a turn off.
