UC Riverside-- DUMB PEOPLE???

A recent educational study by a group of HS students from W. Palm Beach in colaboration with the Westinghouse young scholars program in Washington DC concluded that students a UC Riverside scored lower on random surveys that test general knowledge than students at the other universities around the state. Random students were asked to 15 questions.

Here are some examples of the questions:

1.) T/F: The sun revolves around the Earth.

2.) Who was the 1st President of the USA?

UC Riverside students and ppl in the Inland score 30% +/- 4.4 overall on the survey, compared to 67% at CAL State LA.

Shouldn't the UC students be more prepared and more educated than most other university students??

Why did UCR have to get pwned by the test?!

Oh well, I want attend either UCI or Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.

Everyone knows that Riverside is a joke. It's kinda like Cal Poly Pomona.

F you dude. CPP is not a joke (if you're doing engineering).

Yeah, that's why they try and recruit the people who get rejected from SLO.

Bingo. I skipped over SLO 'cause I didn't feel like living in the middle of nowhere. Going to Pomona I get to live by the beach and still be close to civilization.

is going to UC Riverside better than a CSU?

i got into UCR and UCD but go to CSULB

Stats?

Also, did you guys put down where you want to send your SAT scores to on the registration? Where College board tells you to choose four free schools to send scores to and any additional schools with fee?

Is it better to see the score then send it?

I only applied to two schools and I knew that well in advance so I just had them sent there; all of them.

What's the difference between UC and Cal State schools?

People outside of California for the most part have only really heard of UCLA and Berkeley.
