Ubunutu wireless network help

I just installed ubuntu on my on my notebook but it didnt find the wireless nic.

i have a acer aspire 5570, with Intel(R) PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection. The network place only shows wired and modem. No wireless.
 
what would it show up as in the hardware, cause i dont seem to see it

ok using the lshw command shows
*-network unclaimed
descriptio: ethernet controller, product: Atheros communications


is that the wireless and it is "unclaimed"
 
well after over an hour of working on it... still no luck, i have installed the windows driver using ndiswrapper but that didnt do anything
