Yea it works well. Others I've tried lately that work with Intel wireless cards out of the box:

PCLinuxOS (my distro of choice right now)
Sabayon
OpenSUSE
Linux Mint (this is just a redone Ubuntu though)

It's just crazy now though. Our Network uses dynamic WEP for compatibility reasons and in the past linux was albeit useless. The hoops you had to jump through to get MSCHAPv2, lack of certificates, dummy keys, and PEAP to work was a royal PITA.

Now it just works😀

I'm running OS and feel hardpressed to run linux on it for desktop use....don't feel that I really need it. The platform already does what I need it to do.

On my server however...it's been XP due to my administrative lethargy, but it'll be centos soon...as soon as I can figure out how to make it stop crashing (hardware issue)
