Ubuntu in RAID1 with Promise TX2

I'm having trouble booting up. I went through the whole install with few problems, but after it asks me to take the cd out and reboot it tells me that there was an error loading the operating system. Could this be an error in the RAID config or is it possible I botched the install or does Ubuntu not support Promise cards?
