Ubuntu Gutsy, seems to like to print 2 copies when I print.

I noticed that in the last couple of months, the networked printer HP5000PS will print 2 copies of everything I print from Ubuntu. Even when I do a test page, it will print 2 copies! It used to just print 1 copy, or how many I specified.

All the settings are at 1 copy. Windows will only print 1 copy. I'm using Ubuntu under VMWare under XP.

I'm not at all a CUPS guru. I've gotten my network printer working and it just works, and that's all the experience I have. However, just a suggestion, maybe you could try removing the printer and re-adding it?

Just an update. I didn't do anything regarding this issue and it seems to have fixed itself. Ubuntu now prints just 1 copy when I ask for 1.
