Ubuntu Feisty Fawn Released!

Anyone update their Feisty beta yet? I haven't had any updates the past couple days and now when I check the update manager, it fails most of the repos, and the ones that say hit or done mostly have a 0b. Is this a problem w/ my update manager/sources or do others have this problem.

Updating like that on the day of release becomes nearly impossible, their servers get really really bogged down. Most university servers right now won't get over 30KB/s I'm torrenting the CD image to get it.. lol

I pretty much figured their servers were getting hammered, unfortunately I can't torrent either because my university block all P2P traffic 🙁. I'll just try again later I suppose.

I updated my Feisty install this morning with no problems. I'm guessing that was before the release though. 😉

I was downloading the ISOs and halfway through they all (3) died! I started the torrents on my home server, but then it'll take forever to transfer them to work, or I'll have to burn them and sneakernet them here. Oh well, guess I'll just have to be patient, or play with it on my own time *blegh* 😀
 
Use a different mirror from the one you're currently using (.us, .ca, .de).

I'm gonna make the plunge to Gutsy Gibbon (worst name ever) soon. Repos should be up.
