Hello, I'm about to purchase a new system, (it's been a while!) I'm planning to use it with Ubuntu only. Currently I run 9.04.
My main concern is if this motherboard will work with ubuntu.
The plan is for this AMD system:
AMD Athlon II X4 620 Propus 2.6GHz Socket AM3 95W Quad-Core Processor Model ADX620WFGIBOX - Retail
GIGABYTE GA-MA785GMT-UD2H AM3 AMD 785G HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard - Retail
mushkin HP 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model 996659 - Retail
Honestly I'm open to other suggestions in regards to the ram, just one thing, I'd prefer to buy from an American manufacturer, and for <$100.00 for 4gb.
Does anyone run Ubuntu successfully on this or a similar mobo? thank you for any input!
