Ubuntu and windows dual boot

The easiest way will be to backup your data, install windows and then install Ubuntu. Windows never plays nice with other Operating Systems.

You shouldn't have to reinstall ubuntu after windows, but you will have to reinstall grub to be able to boot ubuntu. Google for how to reinstall grub after windows. I would advise you to create a new partition for windows before installing it from a live distro instead of the windows installer interface.
