Haven't tried it on rig in sig, I did try it on my Laptop though and it works great.

Hrm...

We attempted a 8.10>9.04 'upgrade' on one of our LAN machines, a few minutes ago.

Somehow, we accidently wiped the drive, in the process, and the video card isn't working on a fresh install...

LoL!

Gotta love it! 😀
 
I tried an upgrade from from 7.10 to 8.04 last April. Catch was, the servers were so overloaded at that point it would have taken days, where as downloading the Hardy torrent and installing it took less than 45 minutes.

How the hell do you do that? To upgrade all you need to do is type 'sudo update-manager -d' into a command line, click a few boxes and walk away for a bit.
