Anybody done the either clean, or in-place (heard this is not recommended until first point release) upgrade yet? Any gotchas?
 
I'm waiting cause I need my work machine, and don't feel like spending my weekend fixing/reimaging the computer. A little disappointed, but I'll get it eventually.
 
I DL and put 16.04 on a USB drive on Thursday. I backed up what i wanted to keep. Had been using older 1T drive with 15.10. Wanted to get a newer and larger drive for 16.04 so got a 2T on Friday. Thus i did a clean install onto a new HD.

Installed on Friday and it went very well. I dont do anything fancy with this machine. Basically emails and surfing.
I had backed up my Thunderbird profile but turned out i did not need it as all my emails were still there. Logging on to Firefox restores all my favorites and addons. Computer is an Asus P8Z68v-pro board with an Intel 2600k and Nvidia GTX960 and 16G ram

quick and painless. So far no problems encountered. I moved the launcher to the bottom of the screen.
