Microprose did the Master of Orion stuff...I still fire up 2 sometimes for fun. Never tried three, to cheap to buy it based on reviews.

Raven Soft has ruined ever liscense they have ever touched besides Soldier of Fortune ( and I don't see a new one coming out anytime soon ). They might make some decent single player mode but time and time again their MP is pathetic.

Ubisoft... well I don't really like them. Their software feels sluggesh to me. Micropose... oh baby those where the days : X-Com, Elite Plus, Civilization and Stealth Fighter!

Though out of all my games on all my systems I think that Capcom > my heart : Street Fighter, megaman, Resident Evil are classics to me.

As a long time lover of Part 2 I can tell you part 3 is a big disappointment. They changed everything and it wasnt really improved in any way. Which is what happens when a software company goes out of bussiness and someone else gets the licence to their games.
I was also unhappy with the Neverwinter Nights games after playing Baldurs Gate 2.
Same with Deus Ex and its sequal.

Im sorry but I hate Ubisoft with a passion. I have found them to have the worst quality control and worst patching record of any game company I can think of.

They have got a bit better over recent games but.... urgh

I like Ubisoft for Prince of Persia and Splinter Cell series
I like Incognito for Twisted Metal 2 and God of War
I don't like EA

rayman 1 back in like 95 was by far the best 2d game i've EVER PLAYED. EVER! better than any mario. the only other 2d game that beats it is super smash bros...rayman is FUUUUUUUN!!

oh yea and whoever did mech2 was awesome (a bunch of different companies). a bunch made mech 3, but i think micropros was the main producer of the game. mech3...another great game ruined by its predecessor....

You are crazy. Elite Force = Best Star Trek FPS. X-Men Legends = Best X-Men game ever. Jedi Outcast = Best Star Wars FPS ever. SoF2 = Best FPS EVER. Heretic 2 = Huge success and really sparked the third person shooter genre. Hexen 2 = First third-party game to use the quake engine and probably the first FPS to feature classes and cooperative play.
