Funny how they make a big deal about jade trying to sale her game when guys like Cliffy B,David Jaffes, Peter Molyneuxs do it all time and it isn't a big deal then,they are just picking at jade because she is a intelligent women and they figure her to be easy prey but i really do hope they go through on the lawsuit because that webcomic was in bad taste and really disrespectful towards jade.

While it may have been in 'poor taste' this is america, and they should be able to joke about what they want w/out worrying about the law.

Yeah, I can see where they would want to sue over that. That's pretty much libel right there.

It was in really poor taste, and not very funny. I can really see why Jade would be extremely upset about it, and why she might pursue legal action. However, I'm not convinced it is actually actionable - she's made herself a public figure in the press and the comic itself was parody.

The comic itself had a bikini-clad Jade performing oral sex on gamers, rather graphically, with the implication that she was doing so in order to make them buy her games. Like I said, tasteless.

Yet at the same time, up until the last month or so, I've seen about 50 times more media of her face than actual gameplay. Its quite tasteless, but it does have a point. I can't blame ubisoft for plastering her face everywhere in order to sell the game, but it did work in the end. :p

It's incredibly rare that suits against SA are ever successful. They get them all of the time too.

She needs to get over herself though, you put yourself out there in the spotlight, there's ALWAYS going to be stuff like this.

How many other animated characters have banged Ariel in online comics since The Little Mermaid came out?

Just wait til she sees what guys online do with her Maxim shots, they'll make this look like nothing. Has she not seen 4chan Hermione? Lol.

Basically Ubisoft is threatening to sue me because somebody here posted an offsite link to a comic somebody else drew, and the comic featured a cartoon version of somebody sucking many dicks.

Poor taste or not, SA shouldn't be taking the wraps for it, especially if they didn't have anything to do with its creation or hosting.
