u320 scsi controller on pci (non-express)

I understand that I cannot get the full benefits of a u320 scsi controller until I move to PCI-Express, but I just added a second scsi drive so I'm wondering if there would be any benefit to moving from my u160 to a u320 controller.

Both drives are u320, and my contoller is an LSI u160 which, while it's served me well, goes for something like $30-$40 now.

Any benefits going to u320 since both drives are sharing the bandwidth of the same cable? Any other benefits?

I would appreciate your input.

Cable bandwidth at U160 = 160MB/sec. Your drives won't push more than 50-60MB/sec. each (maybe a little more if they're 15KRPMs). No benefit.
 
On normal PCI a U160 card supports 160MB/S and the PCI bus only supports 133MB/S a U320 card on normal 33mhz 32bit PCI is a complete and total waste.
