1 box = $29.95. Buy 1 box, get 1 free

Alternatively, http://1fast400.com has U-Turn bars for $15 a box + ship, if you want to try them out and not pay $30.

This is an incredible price, for an incredible bar! They taste like a milky way, even though they aren't loaded with sugar and have a lot of protein. I have bought a few boxes from these guys and have had no problems. For me, it is a great way to have what I consider a cheat food (yes it tastes this good).

Free shipping for orders over $35 (they keep renewing the free shipping, even though it says it is over on 7/22/03)

For these particular bars, that is a good price. But as noted, these bars are normally way over priced. I've had several, they taste very good - but if you are looking for a serious workout bar, these probably wouldn't be what you want.

But as I said, for THESE bars that is a very hot price. I personally would recommend getting something better for you if you are going to spend that kind of money on workout bars.

ProUser...what bars do you recommend? I'm always looking to try something new. These U-Turn's aren't bad for meal replacements if you watch what you eat in a cutting diet. I mean, that is why I would eat these and have been throughout my entire weight loss program.

See, in my opinion.......most bars taste like crap. Detour makes a great bar, but you are going to pay $3 a piece for them.

Later....

Honestly, it really depends on what you want the bars for. Detour and Uturn both taste very good, but are very over priced and other then a large shot of protein the rest of the ingredients aren't too great. Also with those type of bars, you are taking in like 300+ calories per bar.

If taste is a serious concern, then things get difficult. Let's face it, a serious workout bar is not going to taste great. That's just the facts. You are better off getting a weight gainer/training shake in bulk.

If you are looking for just something to eat when you get hungry, and want to make it somewhat nutritional then pretty much any bar will work. But you don't need to pay $3 a bar. Go to like a Nutri Sport or any other store like that (please, avoid GMC) and ask them to help you pick a few out. Everyone's tastes are diffierent, so it's really hard to recommend. 40-30-30 bars usually taste decent, and are pretty good for you. Tigers Milk bars are very cheap, taste pretty good and are decent for snacks. But neither of those are 'serious' workout bars. It all goes back to what you are looking for..

Yeah, I buy these for meal replacements, and they help me meet my daily requirements. So, in that respect, they work out great for me.

I see what you mean though....Thanks for the info

the uturn/detour bars have twice as much sugar then what the label says, to let you know. needless to say, i still bought some, thanks!

svtour1:

You are talking about Detour bars (the lab analysis from 1fast400), not U-Turn bars. I have not read anything that says the U-Turn bars lie on their label. I know Detour has changed their batches to more correctly reflect their nutritional contents. From what I understand, it is more concise now.

Correct me if I'm wrong about U-Turn.

that might be, im not really sure though. i wouldnt eat these if i was trying to lose weight. could you perhaps give me a link to that article, i dont see it on 1fast400, thanks!
