Hi,
USR ControlCenter software hangs on exit if any functions are executed; dialog (message) box persists.
Have to Restart to remove warning dialog box.
:?: Does anyone else have this problem, or a solution?
I'm using a USR 3CP5610A, upgraded to V.92, on Win98SE.
The problem existed before as well as after upgrading firmware.
The modem otherwise works okay.
TIA

_____ detail _____
Downloaded latest files from USR, CC twice, by different downloaders.
On select file ControlCenterUsa.exe for install,
Install modem, connect, and later upgrade firmware were fairly smooth 8 ) , following USR and forum instructions exactly.
AFAIK, the 5610A with firmware upgraded to V.92 is functionally (and physically) equivalent to the 5610B.
The modem otherwise works okay (usually connected at 52000 bps, 20% higher rate than the HCF (Winmodem) it replaced, with connected speeds seemingly the same before and after firmware update. Disconnects are infrequent, but the HCF modem had rarely disconnected).
