Don't forget most of the rich Republicans on here, their comments above.
I think that the Republicans here are probably more of the trailer park variety.
Don't forget most of the rich Republicans on here, their comments above.
This is almost sig worthy.
It's a plan that makes everything we've had over the last couple of decades look like the work of economic savants and prophets.
Exactly what effects do you think losing 1/3 of our tax base would have? And I don't mean what you would have happen, I mean what would actually happen. I want to read just how insane you are. You're basically taking the same angle as environmental terrorists, you know that right? The whole "destroy the city to save it" approach?
Oh and way to directly admit that your opinions are based on sheer, baseless hatred of anyone with an arbitrary amount of money; while trying to deny said.
In a nutshell: This makes you irrational. And comedic.
When you have a diseased limb do you keep it?
Sometimes you have to cut off the legs to save the body.
The rich are the diseased limb.
The rich aren't leaving France nor would they leave the US if we imposed higher tax rates.
They will adjust. Btw, this doesn't mean that I support France's move. The rich will just find creative ways to circumvent the tax code like they've always done.
So you have no desire to become rich? Keep in mind that "rich" in the US is making 250k or more per year. So if someone offered you a job, that you liked, that paid 250k/year, you would refuse?
You'd have to, because if you didn't you'd become rich. And by your own logic, would have to be cut off. Long live the national proletariat comrade!
Like it or not, the rich are responsible for a lot of good as well as a lot of bad. Reigning them in is one thing. "Cutting them off" is cutting off one's nose to spite one's face. Or rather, cutting off one's legs to spite one's body. In a word: Stupid.
I think you need to learn what hyperbole is.
To be honest, the sycophantic attitude that so many people have towards the wealthy is sickening.
It doesn't matter how long you spend justifying what they do, they still laugh at you from their tax havens.
Shocking! Skyrocketing tax rates cause people with the means to do so move to places without skyrocketing tax rates? No wai! Whoda thunk it?
Methinks the socialists in France are about to learn that things don't always work out the way you want them to, and people don't always do things you want them to.
Punishing the evil rich for being rich doesn't actually help anyone.
This is almost sig worthy.
Sycophantically sucking their cocks for being rich doesn't help either.
This is the OP's sad attempt to hate on rich Americans (see the title of the thread) yet all he can do is post proof of why increasing taxes on rich causes them to flee.
I wonder what the OP thinks would happen if there were no "rich people" to support slackers like him with government cheese. Actually, I don't care.
Thank you.
I think that the Republicans everywhere are probably more of the trailer park variety.
Funny, I don't recall sucking any rich cocks. In fact I've spoken about how the rich should be taxed more heavily and reigned in. I just think taxing anyone at 75% is beyond extreme.
You on the other hand have made it quite clear that you'd suck the cock of the nearest OWS bum for free, and that you're just dumb enough to enjoy it. You'd also collapse our economy out of sheer frustration with "rich people" (I doubt you could name two dozen specifically). People like you are why we invented democracy.
Cool story bro. You're gay.
The word you are looking for is "jealousy".
What, are we back in middle school now? Then again, from the sound of your views you never left.
