Do you have any idea how many people the criminal justice system currently employs? So this doubles as a jobs stimulus. Though really, once people see a few others going to jail on the news, they'll stop breaking the law.

Your imply that government jobs somehow keep the economy going. Of course this is false but if it were true then we could employ everyone in a government post and never have to worry about the economy tanking or joblessness in this nation. This isn't even covering the entire "Big Brother" aspect of such a law passing if Eric Holder and the DOJ had their way.

The radical right or the moderates? The 'corporations can do no wrong' side is pretty suspect to support them on this.

First this isn't a corporation seeking to stomp on the Constitution it's a government entity known as the DOJ. Also the "Government knows best" side is just as equally suspect in throwing its support to this trash as well or have you forgotten the "Fairness Doctrine".

They should just make it like it is in real life.

You harass someone on the net, maybe to the point of them committing suicide (and it can be proven that it WAS you), then you should be held responsible for your actions.

But saying you are an attractive 17 year old college co-ed... that is just a waste of time and money to track down all these anonymous CT's.
