Lastly, this post is intended to be sarcastic. I do not want to turn it into a political debate....hence why it is here and not in P&N.

FYI Bryan Adams now lives in England......and I think overall it just because the US thinks it controls the world or wants to control the world...not that I have anything personal against Americans

what I think it all boils down to is that most Americans go throught thier normal day and never mention nor speak of Canada and Canadians. Yet, Canadians, on the other hand do, and are pissed that they do, and that we dont. get it?

The U.S. obviously doesn't care much about what any other country thinks, so why should Canada be any different? :D

Somebody should make a site dedicated to apologizing to the world about Celene Dion and Shania Twain, like that one apologizing for Bush.
We truly are sorry

PS Brian Adams intentionally left out of the company and Celene and Shania

Now you can look at this in two ways.

Everyone I know hates americans - but also refuses to say it. (main reason being they think they are the greatest and the only contry on earth worth talking about).

Note how I say refuses to say it - which brinGs me to the next point - WHO GIVES A FLYING FVCK what counrty you are from.

Politicaly some are harder to live in than others due to red tape.

I don't care who hates who - I prefer to think more about the positive side of life and give love out to all

If they don't want to recipicate the love back then it's no skin off my nose - they will just receive bad Karma their way in this life life or the next

Well I don't think too many Canadians hate Americans

"American Secret Service agents and RCMP officers equipped with rifles and video cameras kept watch over the placard-carrying crowd of about 200 as they shouted "Go Home" and other slogans at the Bush entourage. "

200?!?! thats not hate, hardly mild heartburn ;)

In Canadiaese, that's the equivalent of saying something nasty about your mother.

Bush has on several public occasions minimised the relationships between Canada and the US, and that irks us. We're used to being just a speck on your radar, but Bush doesn't even give us that.

Examples: Calling Mexico your biggest trading partner (it's us). Thanking the UK just after 9/11 when it was Canada who took in tens of thousands of your citizens from flights that were unable to land.

Then there was the frostiness of your ambassador after we didn't join the Iraq war.

And then there were (and still are) the trade blockades. After the BSE diagnosis, many countries closed their borders to our cattle. Fair enough. Most then reopened them. Yours hasn't. England has reopened their border for crimini's sake. Though rumours say that Bush is going to announce a deal during this visit.

Most of us have this stuff in perspective, but there is a rising sense of anti-Americanism here among some.
