March 18th!
It depends. I feel we will have the votes on Tuesday. The question is will France veto the resolution. While I dont think they will, but if they do veto, bombing will commence Thursday, after allowing 48 hours for the inspectors to get as well as any civilian that wants to leave. Most countries have already pulled their people out of Iraq.
i think we're kind of beyond that point now.Originally posted by: BaliBabyDoc
So much for pretending to be judiciously considering alternatives . . .

I have to give Bush credit for a really high stakes game of Texas Hold'em. He must be a great poker player. He is definitely betting his presidency on this war.......![]()
Dont forget the other side is betting no weapons will be found or the war will go badly. Both sides have much to lose.
Yes, he is. But then he is doing as he sees fit, without being a poll following president.Originally posted by: Jmman

If the inspectors have ANY sense whatsoever, they will leave before the 17th.Originally posted by: LH
Actually if the resolution passes it would be the 19th, they will be giving a 48 hour warning so the inspectors can get their plane in and get them out. Their plane is in Cyprus. It also allows civilains to take cover or get out of the way. People from other countries have already high tailed it out of Iraq.

He follows his convictions and moral beliefs, which is what a President should do.
