Comcast recently raised the speed here for Blast to 100 Mbps, too. Which reminds me... I need to call them to get rid of Blast and go back to 50 Mbps and save myself $12 per month. Maybe they'll offer me a temporary promo discount to stay at that tier for a while. If so, I may take the deal and then get rid of Blast at a later date.

Better than I thought! I wonder what I'll get through ethernet.

Now, to keep verizon honest, I think I'll try speedtest.net directly.

Well, I'm paying for 50/50, but I am surprised my wireless speeds are as good as they are. And . . . I wonder if being in a different part of the house could possibly be why speedtest chose a different server for the ethernet test. :hmm:

No, I peanut butter. :p
I'm happy as long as my download is above 50, and I'm very happy with my upload speed. It's rare I can take advantage of 90 mbps, but uploading is way less time consuming when it's above 25.

My OneDrive is large enough to automatically back up everything important on my desktop, so syncing is fairly quick, and when I have to upload files to a server or a site like YouTube I'm not waiting too long for transfers to finish.

The download speed would actually be same as upload usually, but I'm streaming some stuff.

I guess i dont download much so those high speeds dont really do much for me. Ive never had a problem with Netflix streaming in HD quality on 5mb DSL.

At least I didn't flunk. :(

This is by far the fastest connection I've ever had at home so no complaints really.

I have never understood Time Warner. I get 54mbps DL yet only 5.55 UL. Its always been way off between the 2.
