U-hauls policy about not renting towed equipment to Ford Explorers!

I rented an open u-haul trailer the other day. And on the receipt theres a line that says exactly

"U-Haul's policy is to not rent towed equipment behind Ford Explorers."

Whats up with that? lol. I find this really strange.

Fallout from the "bad tire" frenzy with Explorers a couple years ago?

Perhaps someone had their tires fail while towing a U-haul rented trailer, went off the road, crashed, etc...and blamed U-Haul for it, sued, and won.

Not terribly unlikely, given the current state of the judicial system.
