U a Photoshop guy - Why is PS stripping out EXIF info from camera?

Using Photoshop CS2 to take my RAW files and save them to tiff, and then from that tiff to a more manageable jpeg. But, whenever I do this EXIF data is stripped out of each image.
Is there a work around for this, or a free utility? Anyone let me know.

I'm pretty sure the EXIF info will be stripped in the JPEG if you save using "Save for Web" (alt+ctrl+shift+S)

I am not, nor have I ever used the Save for Web. Always Save As.
