Typical Size of a 20 Minute AVI clip?

Im trying to convert my Arrested Development DVD VOB files to Avi using Agk, however am unable to find a suitable file size 🙁 I tried 175mb (the size of this seasons episodes I DLed...they look pretty good) but the quality looks like crap 🙁 (im using xvid btw) What would you say is a good file size to pick for these clips? They are about 20 min each....and Id like not to lose any quality. Pls Help!
