Well we are making some progress, not so very long ago in many places he would have been beaten and jailed (or worse) just for being in a car with a white woman:Q

Not to sound racist at all, but I enjoy it when the "ghetto thug black man" tries to stick it to the man in court in my county. Instead of being a "pussy ass" and dealing out for 15 years, they "fight the man and stick it to him" for a 30 year sentence instead. I say I enjoy it because its mostly the thugs that try to do it. I enjoy everyone with that attitude getting the smack down by the legal system. Just seems that the black people I deal with do it more often than others.

You pick up sarcasm very well.

Did you know that the rate of certain STDs such as gonorrhea are 24x higher in blacks than whites? It's because those diseases be racist. Black people only get them cuz they black. Either that or they just make really poor decisions, which also lands them in jail. Nah, that can't be it.

So it's racist for somebody to go to jail for breaking the law? I don't get it.

The guy BROKE THE LAW. What happened to the white woman is completely f**king irrelevant! Now for the record, I believe she should have been arrested also, but how is that relevant? What you are saying basically boils down to "the black guy shouldn't have been arrested, despite breaking the law" which is bullsh!t.

Honestly, if you're saying she should have been arrested, then yes, I'd say it's somewhat racist if the man was, in fact, arrested while she wasn't.

I agree that people far too often attempt to play the race card...it's just a part of human nature. It has more to do with a lack of accountability across people in general nowadays than it does any one race attempting to avoid persecution as a whole.

Basically, America is still highly racist today. It's true. You can walk down the street and see it on a daily basis. Denying it just points towards ignorance and unwillingness to accept things the way they are.

Does this mean that certain segments of the population deserve "special treatment" per se? No. But it does mean that everyone needs to recognize the fact that it does occur, and we all need to play a part in reducing its occurrence.
