I would like to know wheter the dsl modem in US is compatable with those in europe/asia ?
or issit all the same other than the voltages difference to power them up.
 
There is actually more than one type of DSL, and I am pretty sure they use different types of modems. If you are talking about ADSL I am sure the hardware is very similar, but yeah the voltages must be different.
