After 12 years in a box, I have unearthed my long lost Tyco racing kit. I have 8 cool lookin cars and an banked curve expansion kit. I knew the track may not work but I was willing to give it a whirl.
I made a very small oval to see if it worked. I plugged in the power and was all excited. I plopped one of the cars down.....pressed the trigger button...and BAM....nothing.
I figured, hey, the car was broken. I put all the cars on the track and it still didn't work. I pressed down on the front end of the car and i saw that it was getting some juice. I tested all the pieces of the loop but putting the car on em and pushing down. There was power going through all the pieces. The cars wont run, though.
Anybody have any suggestions on what I can do to make it work? All of the cars motors will work if i press down on the front ends of the cars. The connectors hit the track fine. the little metal strips appear to be raised enough so that there is a solid connection.
