Tyan Trinity 400 owners

I'm planning on buying the Tyan Trinity 400 and I would like to know what the latest revision of the board is and what the latest drivers are (and where to get them).

I'll be installing a Viper 770 video card, PC100 memory and a PIII 550 slot 1. Hopefully these will not pose any problems with installation.

I'm not looking to overclock, I just want a stable, straightforward mb with lots of expansion and upgrade capability (especially for the cpu).

By the way, what is the fastest cpu you can plug into this board?

Thanks for your help!

Just sold mine yesterday but nothing wrong with it. Just couldn't overclock & no hw monitoring. It's a good stable board & I had a viper770 on it as well. If you use 133 ram, you can run it at 133 with the fsb at 100 with the via cs. Just select +33 in the bios mem.

Is there any type of BIOS or Windows monitoring software that will display the cpu temp and fan speeds for the Trinity 400? I'm used to seeing this on my Abit BH6 system and was a little surprised not seeing this information with the T400.

I think this board only has ONE ISA slot (not good news in my world). Some boards offer onboard sound based on the Ensoniq 1373 Audio. There is a BIOS update of 1.07 (ask Moving Target if this is the currently shipping BIOS).
