Tyan Tiger MX vs. other motherboards

I will be getting DSL very soon (FINALLY something other then dial-up!) and I was planning on selling my old box, and making a new server/workstation. I was eyeing the Tyan Tiger MX dual AMD motherboard, and noticed that it was only $184. There are a lot of other quality boards out there in the $130-150 range, and also some nice ones around $80-100. I'm not really that tight on cash, so I have a little extra spend on something nice. I have a palamino, and I will buy some nice crucial DDR to put into it. Other then the fact that the MX cannot overclock easily, is there any otehr disadvantages to useing this board as opposed to another one? I figured that a rig built with this would be nice and stable, and would be nice to take to collage when I go.

The main purpose of this server/workstation would be as a counter-strike server, and also hosting my future webpage. Would dual Palominos be severe overkill?

Any ideas/suggestions/etc. would be appreciated!

The MPX should be able to handle most anything you can through at it. I am personnaly waiting for the Epox M762A, as it has working USB as well as Ethernet (Intel, no less) onboard. You will lose at least two of your four PCI slots with a USB card and your sound card (should you decide to have those). The 64-bit/66MHz slots may not handle older, "regular" PCI cards.
