Tyan Thunder K7 Dual Athlon board

Well, I thought I was smart until I got this board. I think I am a little under water.

I have it running registered PC2100, a pair of Athlon MP 1200s, and the NMB 460 power supply.

My issue is this: It randomly locks up. Just out of the blue, all the sudden locks up solid. I then have no choice but to power the system down completely and fire it back up again. The next thing that happens is that I get no video. The onboard ATI Rage XL doesn't work. If I stick a Radeon or GeForce 2 in, they don't work either. Then I reset the CMOS, let the thing sit for three days, and VOOLA! It has video again. It has done this a number of times. I hit the point that I just RMAed the board, but the company I purchased it from said nothing was wrong with it and sent it back.

Now, I was able to get it running steadily for awhile by disabling the onboard Ethernet controllers (pair of 3com 980s) and running a GeForce2 as the video card (on board disabled). The machine ran fine in Linux Mandrake 8.1 and Windows 2000 and Win XP. But this weekend, boom....locked up again, and I still haven't gotten video back.

I have run the system through a number of tests, I can't seem to narrow down anything in particular. The memory tested fine via MicroScope. I have a pair of Volcano 2+ fans and the processor temps stay around 42-48C. Is this too high? I have attempted to pull all cards from the machine, played with drivers, updated the BIOS to 2.09, and done every other thing I can think of at the moment. Can anyone point me in a new direction, or just give me a 800# for Tyan? I am confused.
