Two Zalman Fanmate2 not working

My specs are below, except now I also have a scythe ninja installed. I purchase two scythe s-flex 1600rmp fans to replace the back fans and two install a new front intake fan. I also purchased two fanmate2. However, the fans don't work when connected to the fanmate. If they're connected directly to the MB, the fans work fine.

Any ideas why this may be so?

What source of power do you connect the Fanmates to? If you connect to the mobo for power, you have to be sure that any fan speed control functions of the mobo are DISABLED - or connect direct to the PSU for power (connect to regular drive connector - NOT any special fan connector). IOW, you want the full 12V on the "power in" side of the Fanmate at all times.

Thanks for the reply. I'm connecting the fanmates into the motherboard and I do have the fan speed control function on the MB disables. I don't want to connect the fanmate to the PSU because I want to monitor their speed.
