Been busy since last night....replaced the two XP1600 chips in the K7AMA boards (after flashing both BIOS) with the XP2000 chips. This board runs slower than the L7SOM or KT266A boards, but I didn't want to tear the rack down to swap boards out of the "Inside the House" cases. Also installed Win2k on the system while at it...replacing the last of the Win98 loads.
The XP1600's have now been placed in the rack (actually, one has been inserted and installed on a KT266A board and the other will be shortly)...
So....Two new XP2000 chips running (on exsisting boards)
..
the two removed XP1600's will be running in the rack on new ECS KT266A boards....
..
Win2k replaced Win98 on one of the XP2000 boards...
Dang...this took quite a while to do.....all the mounting, etc.
more..more..more...! :Q
Should produce 14 or so new WU's per day! 😀
