** Two XP2000 systems up!

Engineer

Been busy since last night....replaced the two XP1600 chips in the K7AMA boards (after flashing both BIOS) with the XP2000 chips. This board runs slower than the L7SOM or KT266A boards, but I didn't want to tear the rack down to swap boards out of the "Inside the House" cases. Also installed Win2k on the system while at it...replacing the last of the Win98 loads.

The XP1600's have now been placed in the rack (actually, one has been inserted and installed on a KT266A board and the other will be shortly)...

So....Two new XP2000 chips running (on exsisting boards)
..
the two removed XP1600's will be running in the rack on new ECS KT266A boards....
..
Win2k replaced Win98 on one of the XP2000 boards...

Dang...this took quite a while to do.....all the mounting, etc.

more..more..more...! :Q

Should produce 14 or so new WU's per day! 😀

Congrats Engineer 🙂

Keep up the good work, even though it could have waited until after the MTR 😉 😀

Nice! 😀

I finished building 3 XP1600+'s for a friend this week... Of course they are crunching SETI! 😀

Hehe....somebody didn't read! 😛

I just placed them into two NEWEGG REFURBS (you should know! 😛) a few hours ago! 😀

Very nice. Hopefully my dad will get into gear soon and order 5 XP 1800+'s for his business. That should definately help my output🙂

Woot, give me your dad's number if you think he needs any convincing 😉 😀 Go Swanny Go! 😀

Well, after a harddrive problem (failure on old small drive), all is well now. Used the last small HD I had, but both XP2000 and both XP1600's are humming right along now! 🙂

😀

My personal output should be around 95 WU's per day (including the WU's from my work PC's 🙂 )!

😀
