two xp1700s in a tyan mpx mb?

that's basically it. will two xp1700+ processors work in a tyan mpx motherboard for a dual processor setup? i notice that amd doesnt sell an mp1700.
i've already got one xp1700+ and i'm building an mp system for a friend.

Yes, it should work.

AFAIK the only XP's that are SMP locked are some of the newer 2000+'s.

1900+ & lower XP's are pretty much a guarantee.
