Two X1800XT questions

Been playing with my new x1800xt over the weekend and two things are sticking out at me, besides that evil evil fan. (Thankfully I replaced it with a zalman before I went deaf)

#1 Do these cards have a different 2d and 3d speed? At desktop (according to the ccc) I'm at 594/693 with 621/747 requested. I setup a second monitor to check if they changed when gaming and they didn't. Not sure if its a ccc bug or if something screwy is underclocking my card.

#2 Is there some catalyst ai cheat I need to disable to get proper aa? At certain angles it looks perfect yet at other angles it looks like there is no aa being applied at all. Forgive my noobness I haven't played with the ccc ever until this weekend. =)

1. yes they have two profiles...just like the nvidias newer cards do. the speesd you have listed is correct. and finally yes the gpu "gets faster" when u go from 2d to 3d mode

2. duno, i dont used bloated ccc
