Two women stuck in elevator for 2 days...

The funniest part of the article was this sentence :

The duo became dizzy from hunger. "I was close to thinking I was going to die," Bartoszewicz said.

Two days without eating and you're getting close to death? Even two days without water wouldn't even come close to killing you.

This is all assuming neither had blood sugar problems, which wasn't mentioned.

She didn't say she was close to death, she was close to THINKING she was close to death. Hell, if I were stuck in an elevator for 2 days with no food or water or sign of rescue, I probably would start to think that, too.

How did you react when you were stuck in an elevator for two days not knowing when you'd be saved?

I became dizzy from hunger and thought to myself "I am close to thinking I am going to die!"

They said they tried to use the emergency button and no one responded. Not all elevators have phones.... some only have the button.

So she exaggerated a bit. What's the big deal?

Were they blonde? Why not just use the phone in the elevator.
Use the phone . . . to do what? :Q

Call 911. If there are no security guards on duty there has to be a phone with a hard line in it.
