Two wireless router channel question.

I have two wirless routers set up. The id's are the same, dhcp is off on second router (zone b), ip addresses are different and both channels are different. The problem im having is when you leave zone a that your connected to and walk into the other zone b the wireless device does not connect to zone b router automaticlly causinng a low signal since its still conected to the router in zone a. The only reason i know it's still connected to zone a router is that i used an app called wifi analyzer that allows you to see what router your connectd to. What do i need to do to make it a seamless transition from one zone to the next. I have read to make the channels the same on both routers but then i read others say to make them different.

Thanks
