Ugh, I need to inform my employer of my intention to leave at the end of this month. I always thought I'd be excited when the time came for me to quit, by I find myself really nervous! They've been a great company to me, treated me really well, however, I've found a new job that's more appealing to me.

anyone else ever find it difficult to quit their job? even after they've looked forward to it for months?

And of the two directors that I report to, the nicer one is on vacation this week. I know the other one isn't going to be too pleased when I tell them I intend to quit.

I've never enjoyed telling people I am quitting. It is especially difficult when you are fairly friendly with the people you work with or the people you work for. You feel like you are letting them down.

But don't worry, both of you will get over it pretty quickly...its just business...nothing personal.
