So in my other thread I asked about GPS units. That's settled. Now I need info on radios. I think I have the difference between FRS and GMRS down. What is GPRS?!?

My understading of GMRS is that it requires an FCC license to use. Does this apply in Europe? (where I would be using the radios this summer) TIA.

Yeah, I did that (duh -- see subtitle). However, the info seems pretty general, and I didn't see anything at BestBuy or CC websites (which have nice guides for two-way radios).
