What is the best way to do an Over-The-Air two-way contact sync with the iPhone, an ATT 8525, or an ATT Tilt?

The only thing I have seen so far is FolderMirror by Chapura, but it says you have to have your desktop running to do a sync, and this makes it almost useless.

Add2Exchange may work, but the price is a bit steeper than FolderMirror.

I am using a SBS2003, and I have three people who want to all sync contacts with each other, live.

Does anyone have a working solution?

Good luck, I tried Add2Exchange to sync multiple users' mailbox contacts to a public folder then to blackberries and iphones and it was miserable. Never worked properly, duplicates, contacts went missing, etc.

Why can't these damn devices just support public folders natively? I hate that MS is "defocusing" on public folders...sharepoint is such overkill just for shared contacts/calendars/etc

Let me clarify my comment -- I meant through BES...but I think you got that, since you can already use desktop manager to sync public folders (at least they have that over iPhone/WinMo devices). If so, good news, but entirely unexpected due to, as I said, MS's inconceivable drive to kill off public folders.

Speaking of Blackberry features coming, when are they going to add server 2008/64 bit support for BES?

Dunno about BES, but OS 5.0.xxx has been slated to add:

# Flag messages and set reminder times on your BlackBerry.
# View personal contact subfolders and edit contacts! Until now BES used to put all of your contacts into the Contacts application even if they were in different folders.
# You will be able to view and use contacts that are in public folders and copy them to your local contact list if you have permissions.
# You will have a file browser to access shared network locations to open, add, or save documents. You will be able to see document information from there such as file type, size, and date.
# Forward meeting invitations and calendar entries from your BlackBerry.
# Ability to add, delete, move, or rename personal folders.
