two wallpapers on dual display?

i'm running two 19" LCDs on an x800pro, wondering if you can set up two different wallpapers, one on each screen. i'm just using the windows background setting, and it displays the same image twice, one on each screen. thanks.

It's been awhile since I used dual display on an ATI card but ATI didn't have that feature in their drivers last year when I was using Radeon card. Nvidia has it as an option in their drivers.

Ultramon can also do this but it's like $40 for the program which is a ripoff IMO.

You can do this with different programs (such as UltraMon: http://www.realtimesoft.com/ultramon/) or you can do it the old fashioned way by making an image twice as wide as your screen resolution, pasting 2 wallpapers next to each other, and selecting "tile" in your wallpaper properties.

What he said.

I still can't believe ATI is lagging so far behind in the multimonitor setups. Its the reason I had a 5900 and now my 6800U.

Doesn't windows automatically do this?

Whatever the width is of your screens together

Ie my 20inch lcd's are 3200x1200

Find a wallpaper that corresponds with that size, works fine for me

since I change wallpapers often, this would be quite impractical.
