Two Towers question

At Helm's Deep when Aragorn gives the command for the archers to attack, he says "Release arrows" in elvish. Wasn't it "Fire!" in the theatrical release? I remember reading afterwards that that was a mistake because "fire" wasn't used until the gunpowder era.

Why was the movie called the Two Towers anyway? << Ignorant semi-fan who didn't notice two towers in the movie. ?

No, he said "Release Arrows" in the theatrical release as well. But he does say "Prepare to Fire" before that in both versions.

ah ok thanks. it was a vague recollection. gah that movie disappointed me because of Faramir. supposed to be the opposite of Boromir, strong where the other was weak. turns out they're both dicks.

You think too much. They used fire to cook and light up the night in that show.

I do think too much, but obviously I meant the term "fire" as it applied to shooting arrows.
