if those $300 price tags for the 2.8C are true i'd definitely get one

i'll get more ram later on;)

Personally, I would go with a 2.4C, overclock to make up the difference.

I would take the savings, ditch the 9600 and the Leadtek card and go with a 9700 Pro AIW.

But thats just what I would do.....;)

made it a 1gig system....the 2.4C is good enuf and the 1 gig of mem will really be good

Nice System! Anyway, it's almost always cheaper to buy from online vendors. Where do you plan to buy from? I've ordered from Newegg.com many times, and just recently had to RMA (exchange) something. It went flawlessly, even though I may have made the mistake and f*cked it up.

its newegg, then infotechnow for the low priced koolance case, then ecost for the crazily low priced 2.8C and 9600
