Two recommended monitors for $550-700 and general use

So, what monitors are recommended for general usage, some TV-shows and movies, but mostly gaming and browsing?

I don't really have any requirements other than the budget of $550-700 for TWO monitors.
I've heard a lot of talk about the Dell U2412M, and everyone seem to recommend it, but then there's the issue of "ghosting" etc.

Also, what's the best choice of 16:10 vs 16:9?

I use the monitors in my sig and another HP 22" one in eyefinity set up. Works great and spans all 3 perfectly.

Get two u2412ms put one in portrait mode for reading documents and one in landscape mode for video and gaming.
