Two questions....

1: Is there a CLI version of SETI for Mac or Linux?

2: Is Kcjeeper active? The reason I ask is it doesn't look like he/she has posted any messages under that name in the last 90 days, and he is supposed to be my mentor. (btw, what exactly does a mentor do?)

Yes there is a CLI for the MAC but in OS X not any of the other MAC OS's It can be found here and it is the one called powerpc-apple-darwin1.2:

As far as linux goes it is on the same page, but I am not sure which one it is. Someone will come on who is more familiar with linux and advise you as to the best one. Although I have heard that running the windows CLI in WINE is the fastest way to do it on a linux machine.

I am not sure where KcJeeper is, but to answer your mentor question, mentors are here to help answer questions about Seti for you. If they don't know the answer, chances are they will know someone who does.

Darn, I'm running OS9.something. 9.5 maybe... or 9.1, who knows. GUI for me it is, then.

Hi Barry,

Sorry you haven't heard from Kcjeeper but I'm so glad you mentioned it. I have assigned you a new mentor, "Lane42", whom you should be hearing from soon.

Why don't you try Peek-a-Boo 1.6 for your computer. It has some nice features. :)
