Two quick questions

For the power supply which way is on? Having the part with the l pushed in is off right?

And for a 2.1 speaker set up, do I plug the satelites into the Front R/L port or the Side R/L port?

IBM made (maybe still makes) computers - both large and small with switches marked "0" and "1". "1" is ON, as an earlier poster noted, binary. However, depending on how the switch was designed, the pushed in part of a rocker switch maybe the off position, but not usually.
