I was watching a DVD on my computer lastnight (in windows XP) and for some reason it stopped playing (first time this has happend) at the same time my hard drive activity light came on, and it remains on.... Any idea why this is happening?
Also why is it that my windows 2000 Pro install see's all three of my CD roms but windows XP will only see two of them?

Abit VP-6
dual 750's @ 863
Geforce 2 pro 450 (gainward)
768 ram
TB Santa Cruz
dual Maxtor 20's on raid 0 (partitioned in half with 98SE/windows XP Pro)
Dual IBM 15's on raid 0 (Win 2000 Pro)
IBM 75 (storage) on promise ATA 100 pci card
Aopen 16X10X32 CDR
Creative DVD
Samsung 52X CD (this one does not show up in XP)
