Two questions - 1055, 790x

board: 790XT-G45

It screams at me the moment I hit 1.34v, or 1.33v.

Why does it scream (turn red, NOT RECOMMENDED.), at such a small difference which is well within spec (1.4v on 1055T)??? Is the board capable of more than 1.34 without damage?

CPU: 1055T
So, I have it set to 1.334v...

It's OC @ 257 x 14 = 3.6GHZ
I enabled turbo which brings it up to 4ghz (257x15.5).

First, I thought turbo only gave 3 cores a boost.
Second, what is with these readings!? Way over 4ghz.

Third, I didn't get a picture of this, but when turbo was disabled I was getting 1.38v in CPU-Z even though I set it to 1.339v!?!?

Thanks.....

It's just a predefined setting coded into that board's particular BIOS to change the font color when you breach a specific value. Don't mind it.

That's right.

I believe it clearly shows AMD Overdrive is mistaken.

Is that voltage under load while running Prime95? It is normal for voltage to spike up under load above what is set in the BIOS.
