Two Promise RAID Controllers in one machine

I have two Promise RAID Controllers in one PC. One is a TX2200 to handle two SATA drives and a TX2000 to handle my IDE drives. I can't seem to get both cards to be recognized during POST IF an array is defined on both of them. If I have no arrays defined, or only 1 array defined, I can see the both controllers' BIOS POST. As soon as I define the second array, the controller BIOS POST goes away, and the array is not accessable in windows.

Here are my stats:
P4 2.53
1 Gig RAM
ASUS P4B533 motherboard
Windows XP Pro

Thanks for your input!

Hate to say this, but I think 2 Promise raid controllers are not supported. Saw this in a thread when I Googled this same issue you're having with a SXT150(name?) & SX4000 Lite.

I thought that might be the issue, so I went to my local Compusa and picked up an ITE-based RAID controller... identical results.

Did you ever get any combination of 2 controllers to work????
